Company Profile

The Hawaii Dream Service Center registered as a non-profit organization with the State Department of Commerce and Consumer Affairs on January 18, 2006 and was granted tax exemption by the State of Hawaii.  HDSC was also granted non-profit status as a Federal Non-Profit Organization under Section 501c(3) of the Internal Revenue Code as of  June 6, 2006.

The following programs will be provided to enable families and individuals to discover the confidence and the ability to succeed.  Honoring the dignity of every child and adult encourages them to invest in their own future.

NOTE:  The only individuals HDSC will not be able to serve are the adults with non-reversible mental illness and mental retardation.  We will refer them to the agencies designed for their needs.

 

Partnering with local governments and nonprofit organizations, the Hawaii Dream Service Center plans to provide:

  • Affordable housing options for suitable single and multi-family dwellings in partnership with Hawaii Community Land Trust;

  • Support services;

  • Specialized youth & elderly programs;

  • Prevention strategies;

  • Financial resources through employment and benefits;

  • Education on houseless-ness (homelessness).
